Keep private matters private

Treat every post and reply as public. Do not share private addresses, access codes, account details, medical information, or another person's phone number or email. Use general locations such as a village, town square, or recreation area when that is sufficient.

Events and recommendations

Include the date, time, location, organizer, cost, and any registration requirement for an event. Base recommendations on direct experience, disclose personal or business connections, and distinguish confirmed facts from opinion or hearsay.

Respect the conversation

Disagree with ideas without attacking people. Avoid harassment, discriminatory language, repeated promotion, impersonation, and unsupported accusations. Correct mistakes clearly and promptly when better information becomes available.

Send suspected scams, deceptive practices, or financial exploitation to Consumer Protection, where sensitive details can be handled privately. Keep public discussion focused on verifiable information rather than naming or shaming individuals.
